It is with deep regret that the family announces the passing of a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather
Randolph St. Clair Valentine also known as Ran of Sea View Farm who passed peacefully on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at MSJMC.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Mrs. Molvie Valentine.
Eight children: Apostle Sandra Valentine and Glenmore Valentine and his wife Shamona Valentine residing in Orlando. Joycelyn and Craig Valentine in Atlanta; Kenmore aka Mocco, Warrington aka Rambo, Holliette and Abigail Valentine all residing in Antigua.
His fourteen grandchildren: - Melville Samuel, Kelvin Valentine, Sadeeq Richards, Kiante Anthony, Khatalia and Jomore Valentine residing in Antigua. Kareem, Gabriel, Kevorn, Alex, Jayden, Jaxsen and Alana Valentine; and Rashad Gary residing in the U.S.A. He was also the great grandfather of three:- Aidon Valentine, Jaylen Samuel and Raelyn Gary.
The adopted father of Victoriana Valentine.
Randolph was the brother of Joseph Teague (retired Superintendent of Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda), and his wife Christie Teague of St. Johnsons village and Arthur Valentine and his wife Alberta Freeland-Valentine (both deceased).
He was the nephew of Estella Samuel (deceased).
He was the uncle of Gloria Valentine (deceased), Joycelyn Clarke, Hughlette and Gayle Valentine in the USA. Patrick Valentine and Gerda Valentine-Joseph of Potters, Steve, Keithly, Franklyn, Pauline, Dennis, Trevor and Eugene Teague and their families residing in Antigua. The great uncle of sixty and great great uncle of sixty-nine.
He was the cousin of Yvette, Gloria, Patrick “Humpy”, Fitzroy “Barnes” Samuel and Kenroy Chattham and their children.
Randolph was the brother-in-law of Steadman Browne in the UK; David Browne in St. Croix; Lincoln & Valerie Browne in the USA and all their families. Maurice Looby in Parham; Kenzal, Mellanson, Glinston, Eudel, Avondale and Rita Browne, Ileta Tonge, Veshtina Samuel and Eunice Andrew and all their families in Sea View Farm.
He was god-father to Keithley Roberts, Franklyn Roberts, Dale Browne, Devie Andrew, Donald Weston, Jackie Frederick-Dore and Cathnel Tonge.
He was the close friend and neighbour of Cassilda, Leondred, Jackie, Dawn, Rolston, Hayden, Agnes and all their families. Gladys Gil Pena, Pauline Jackson, Menelva Samuel, Sherita Guishard, Leslie Roberts, Ingrid Nicholson, Lottoia Auguiste, Major Eileen Colbourne, Beverly King, Charles and Yvette Leadette, Vere Otto, Hilson Kirwan, Leonie Roberts, Leroy Frederick, Sylvia Mendes, Joyce Roberts, Jilly Joseph,
Rev. Algernon Lewis and Rev Denise Smith Lewis, Aloma Farley, Genevieve Friday, Edris Roberts, Daven Joseph, Colin James and all their families in Antigua. The Roberts, Coates and Friday families of Sea View Farm. Hilroy and St Clair Humphreys. Cardinal King and the King and Freeland families of Potters, Ira Dowe in the UK, Molly Batson, Wilmouth Smith and family in USA. He was the good friend of the men of the Lebanon Moravian Men’s Fellowship of which he was an ardent member. He had many friends in Bendals village.
Randolph was a dedicated member of the Antigua Trade and Labour Union and a former employee of the Antigua Masonry Products.
The family expresses special thanks to Dr Jerry Simon and Dr Peter Stoute and nurse Almarie Coates.
Randolph had many more close family and friends too numerous to mention.
The cortege bearing the mortal remains of Randolph St. Clair Valentine leaves the Erwin Barnes Funeral Parlour on Wednesday, September 13th at 1:00 p.m. for the Lebanon Moravian Church in Sea View Farm. Tributes will begin at 1:30 pm and the service of Thanksgiving to celebrate his life will commence at 2:00p.m. Burial will be at the Basheba Gardens in Sea View Farm.
